Windemere Township Planning Commission Special Meeting

The Windemere Township Planning Commission will hold a speical meeting on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 6:30 PM, at the Windemere Township Hall, 91546 Military Drive, Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota. The meeting will be for the purpose of addressing the application process for the Short Term Vacation Rental Interim Use Permit, to discuss a possible noise ordinance, the updating of the Shoreland Ordinance, the implementation of the recommendations of the 2020 Comprehensive Plan, and any other lawful business that may come before it.

Brush and Leaf disposal

The plan is to have the Windemere Township gravel pit open in mid to late May 2024 for brush and leaf disposal. This service will be for Windemere Township residents only. Proof of property ownership in Windemere Township will be required. No logs or stumps will be allowed to be dumped.
